A Little About Me
Hello!
I’ am Renu, the face behind Little Steps Interiors, an interior design studio located in Melbourne. I’m a passionate Interior Decorator and also a proud mother of two, who believes the importance of creating a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

I started my career working in financial industry, which also makes me a highly skilled business professional with over 15 years of experience in designing system solutions to project management. Although, as a creative persona I have always been fascinated by the art of interiors and colours. With which I bring the creative flair and an attentive eye from every little detail to envision a bigger picture, together crafting a cohesive whole.

I founded Little Steps Interiors in 2023, introducing a fresh concept that specializes in bespoke interior designs for nurseries and children's spaces. In addition to space design, I also handcraft personalized gifts and kids' room decor. It's more than just a room; it's a space in your home that serves multiple purposes beyond sleeping and playing. It supports feeding, changing, and encourages fun, growth, learning, and a variety of adventures. This area is meant to evolve and grow with your child by blending functionality and aesthetics in its design. Children need a harmonious blend of calmness for focus and playfulness to fuel their imagination. At Little Steps, I infuse each design with love and enchantment, making it the core of all creations.
I collaborate closely with my clients as I understand every parent has a unique vision for their child’s room and also to design spaces that are a true reflection of every child’s personality and style, a space that your family will love for years to come.

LSI's Story
There's a dreamer in each of us! Ever since I can remember, the passion for creativity and love for art, colours and textures have always been a part of me. This deep-routed passion was nurtured by my Mum, which was revived with memories when I lost her during Covid and also welcomed my daughter soon after. My passion reignited as a blessing from my Mum which found its inspiration to craft captivating spaces and artisanal pieces, tailored for nursery and children. This profound passion led to the inception of Little Steps Interiors and my transiton to studying art of interior design, so I can blend my creative flair with the professional knowledge, envisioning a cheerful environment where children can explore, imagine, and grow. This inspiration has been the driving force behind LSI.
